
George Nyabera - Chair, Executive Committee
George Nyabera is an Electrical & Electronic Engineer by profession from the University of Nairobi but an IT practitioner. He is a holder of a Master’s degree in ICT Policy & Regulation at the JKUAT. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. He is a highly effective professional with over 15+ years of progressive working experience in the ICT industry in both corporate and non-profit international organizations. He is proficient in various technical sectors which include Information and Communications Technology, Telecommunications and Satellite Communications. He currently works with World Vision International (Information Technology) as Director for Business Engagement. George is very passionate about Digitalization and impact on driving effectiveness, efficiency and profitability of small and medium sized businesses

Millicent Apondi Okatch - Vice Chair, Executive Committee
Seasoned and talented Programme Development Professional with over 20 years’ experience, serving in key leadership positions in both International Development and Government Organizations. Currently, she is the Director of Programmes and Technical Services, in a state agency, the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), a position she has held since October 2015 - to date. In 2019/2020, she acted as the NCIC Commission Secretary /CEO for one year. Prior to joining NCIC, Millicent worked for Word Vision International (WVI) – Kenya for 12 years, in different capacities including; National Programme Coordinator, Abstinence and Risk Reduction Project Manager – Kenya Chapter and HIV and Health Coordinator. Before joining WVI, she also worked for Care Kenya International, first as a Project Officer and then as Programme Officer. She also had a short stints at Community Aid international, People Against Torture and Goal Kenya.
Millicent holds a Master’s of Arts Degree in Sociology and Rural Development and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Communication all from the University of Nairobi. She has attained numerous professional development certifications, some of which include : Job Evolution in Public service - Kenya School of Government Nairobi - Feb 2021; International Civilian Peacekeeping & Peace Building- Austrian Study Centre for Peace, Conflict and Reconciliation – Austria (2019); Institutional Policy Formulation and Implementation - EASMI (2018); Leadership Governance and Financial Management for Public Institutions – ESAMI (2017); Bullet Proof Management Course - Raiser Resource Group (2014); Proposal Development for Professionals – WVI (2013); Project Management for Professionals – APMG (2012). Millicent is a registered member of Kenya Institute of Management.
She possesses the following key competencies: Strategic Planning and Execution; Project Management; Budgeting and Finance Management; Coordination, Partnership and Networking; Coaching and Mentorship.

Evans Misigo - Treasurer, Executive Committee
Evans has an MBA in Finance, Bachelors of Commerce (Finance Option) and CPA(K). He is a certified accountant and currently involved in Financial Analysis and Capacity building for both Finance and Non –Finance staff. He is a board member of KBA group of schools where he sits in the audit and finance committee as well as the executive committee.
Additionally, Evans is also the Church Treasurer of Kahawa west Baptist church which gives him vast experience in handling finances as well as capacity building in financial issues, customer care and relationship management.

Cecilia Mutanu – Secretary, Executive Committee
Cecilia is a holder of Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from University of South Africa (UNISA) and BSC in Food, Nutrition & Dietetics from Kenyatta University. Cecilia has over 15 years’ experience in Project Management in Development, humanitarian, and research field. She is a strategic mobilizer, team spirited, and keen in process improvement, skills that will be instrumental in the growth of Vision Sacco as a financial institution.
Bernard Ndungu - Chair, Credit Committee
Bernard holds a Master in Business Administration degree-Finance option from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor degree in Business administration-Finance from Maseno University, C.P.A.(K) and a member of ICPAK. He currently works with World Vision Kenya as a Grants Accountant. His experience spreads through projects financial management, financial reporting, risk management and compliance to donor standards. Bernard is passionate about developing new and innovative products, organizational risks and cost management, growth strategies and improving efficiency of business processes through leveraging on technology. He therefore brings to the board additional skills that are necessary in guiding vision sacco to the next level.

Sally Ndungi - Member, Education Committee
Sally Ndungi is an accomplished and experienced Finance, Human Resources and Administration professional with over 15 years of service in these related areas in International Non-Governmental Organizations. Sally has worked in various INGOs in these capacities and is currently working with World Vision Regional Office in the finance department.
Sally holds a Masters in Strategic Management from Kenyatta University, she has a degree in Business Administration (Finance Option) from KEMU, Advanced Human resource Management from Association of Business Managers and Administrators (ABMA) in UK and CPA (K). Sally is a member of ICPAK and AWAK.
Sally brings to the Sacco key competences including: Leadership, Budgeting and reconciliations, Financial Management and reporting, Administration Management, People Management, Capacity & Policy Development among others.

Tobias Ogallo Oluoch - Secretary, Education Committee
Mr. Tobias Ogallo is a trained seasoned Information Technology (IT) expert with vast knowledge in Customer Experience Management & Support, Cloud System administration and Information Security. Tobias holds Bachelors of Science degree in Information Technology from KCA University, a Diploma in Business Information Technology from Strathmore University and currently finalizing his Masters of Science in Information Technology Management from the University of Nairobi. He has over 10 years practice in ICT industry where he has worked on numerous ICT project both as an employee as well as in private engagement. Tobias currently works with World Vision International as Customer Support Analyst where he provides level 1 and 2 support to 9 countries across East Africa Regional Office.

Gershon Mwakazi - Secretary, Credit Committee
Holds Masters of Arts Degree in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi. He has over ten years’ of experience serving in Management positions in different capacities. He has also served as a member of County Land Management Board. He is a member of Church Projects Committee where he fellowships. Gershon has rich experience in Strategic Management, Risk Management, Team Management and Public Relations. His goal is to see Vision Sacco grow in membership and resources to enable members relish maximum benefits from their pooled resources.

Lydia Mukaye - Member, Credit Committee
Lydia Mukaye has vast experience in Strategic Management, Board Governance, Program Management, Business Process Improvement, Change management just to mention a few. She holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi. Lydia has worked with World Vision in various entities and currently is the Director for Strategy and Program Quality in the East Africa Region covering nine countries. Lydia is passionate about strategic positioning, effective and efficient business processes, agile and quality products that create impact on members and their investments, aptitude in financial and risk management. She is also a people manager and keen on growing staff. She carries with her the experience, skills and drive needed to co-lead the SACCO to greater altitudes.
