Millicent Apondi Okatch is a talented, seasoned executive, with over 20 years’ experience in Leadership and Management. She holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Sociology and Development from the University of Nairobi. She possesses hands-on skills in Governance, Strategy, Policy Formulation, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Administration, Project Management, Fundraising and Partnership among many others. Presently she serves as the Director of Research and Knowledge Management at the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC). Previously she was the Director of Programs and Technical services for six years at the same institution and also acted as the Commission Secretary/CEO for NCIC for 1 year. Before joining NCIC, she served World Vision Kenya diligently for 12 years, in different capacities, with the last appointment being as National Programs and Grants Coordinator. Millicent has served Vision Sacco in different leadership capacities; first as a Supervisory Committee member, then the Board Vice Chairperson and presently as the Board Chairperson. She also sits on two other Boards; NCIC Pension Scheme – as Chairperson and Nikah Girls Alumni Welfare Group - as Vice Chairperson.
